Saturation Point is an art organisation founded in 2011 by artists Patrick Morrissey and Hanz Hancock, which originated in an exhibition surveying international reductive, geometric and systems work. It became apparent that there was a resurgence of interest in this form of abstraction in the UK, previously somewhat neglected. In 2013 Hancock and Morrissey launched Saturation Point as an online editorial and curatorial project. Very quickly, the project attracted interest from leading international galleries such as Flowers (Kingsland Rd, London) with whom Morrissey and Hancock collaborated on hosted talks and loans of work for the project's curatorial activities. Saturation Point is now well established in the UK and continues to develop and encourage interest in this kind of work.
